The block has tappet covers on the rear of the engine,, it has 4 - 1-5/8 cup welch plugs Cylinder head has 2 extra securing bolt, i.e, without removing rocker cover you can see 5 - nuts and one bolt between rocker cover and thermostat housing Gearbox is 4 synchro and case number is 22g1128 ( below oil filter) Universals are steel Hardy spicer design with 4 bolts/ nuts securing coupling to gearbox
Distributor does not have vacuum advance Alternator is standard Twin 1-1/4 SU carbs with large tin cannister air filter Police spec cooper S has twin 1-1/2 SU
Disc brakes of 7.5" dia and vh 44 power booster
Rear brake drums with 1" spacer added and longer rear studs

Rh tank boot floor bracket is spot welded on
Flares are fitted and metal body plates are spot welded
Steel rims are 4.5" wide, with 9 round holes around the perimeter
