1x New Ball Joint Assembly to suit upper or lower ball joints
Lower ball joint has a spring to tension joint otherwise both are the same. We sell each ball joint some people sells pairs only.
TIP: New ball joints sometimes do not come with enough shims and you may have to use some from your previous joint. The locknut MUST be tightened fully down onto the shims to get the correct adjustment and THEN the locktab bent over.
I have seen people tighten the nut until the ball joint adjusment is OK, (but not locked onto the shims), and then the locktab bent...THE BALL JOINT WILL UNDO IF YOU DO THIS>> BE AWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING - A bent car or fatality can happen if you do not assemble correctly.
The lower ball joint has a preload spring.
